Learn to Paint

Have you always longed to paint, but don't know where to start? Are you already painting but would like to improve?

Everyone loves to paint and draw as very young children. As we grow, we become aware and begin to compare our abilities with others. If we don't measure up, we quit. It's true, some children are blessed with a natural ability, but everyone can paint... and learn to paint better... with a technique-based individual approach.

A Former President Turns to Painting to Make His Next Chapter of Life Full

Former President George W. Bush picked up a paintbrush two years ago, shocking his close friends and family... and uncovering a new found passion at the age of 67. He hired an instructor and told her, "There's a Rembrandt trapped in this body and your job is to unleash him!"

Winston Churchill, another world leader who took up the art form later in life, provided the inspiration, and President Bush turned to painting to make sure the post-presidential chapters of his life were full. According to the former First Lady, Laura Bush, he takes it very seriously and is working very hard at it.

In a message from Kurt Vonnegut to high school students who wrote to him for advice:

“Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpture, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what's inside you, to make your soul grow. Seriously! I mean starting right now, do art and do it for the rest of your life.”
